The Six of Pentacles upright is a sign of generosity and abundance, though not necessarily through traditional means. Even if you are struggling financially you are blessed with energy or time that you can use to support those who need it, and it is deeply appreciated. That which you give is going to return, marking a time of balance and harmony. Sit in gratitude for what you have and your ability to share with others.
Reversed, we see a similar message, but more internal. Make sure that you are giving time and energy to yourself, especially if you’ve been giving to others for an extended period of time. If you are in need of others’ support and energy, don’t overcommit yourself. This reversal can also denote that perhaps someone in your life is doing a lot of taking and not much giving. Don’t allow your generous nature to get taken advantage of or you could wind up in debt trying to prove that you are a generous person.
Finding balance is key in all things, and while generosity is good, all things must be done in moderation. The extremes are where we falter, my darlings. Only you can decide where that line is for yourself and then hold that line when necessary.
